In today's world of anger-induced social media wars and just plain unpleasantness, I decided we all need more positive messages. So, I decided to create this site. Singular Reflections endeavours to provide constructive impulses through my own personal reflections on life, current events, fitness, action, nutrition, TV, movies, books - pretty much the whole shebang.

"Why 'singular'?" you ask? Because my reflections and ideas are my own and in that, hopefully unique.

A friend of mine is a terrific graphic artist and author and he designed the logo. You might recognize the "S" reflected to create the "R". Additionally, you see the badger (my favorite animal that is purported to be the bravest animal on earth) walking in opposite directions; adapting to where his road is taking him.

My former logo was a medallion I ordered from over at Daily Stoic. IT refers to the mindset of Amor Fati, or to love one's fate, no matter what happens and to see whatever happens in your life as fuel that feeds your fire.
